This Frankton home started with 16 panels with room for a further 4 panels to be added at a later stage.  The system produces approximately 30 kilowatts per day in summer.  The installation cost approximately $13,000 to $14,000 dollars.  Installing on a two story roof added a little bit to the cost as it's more awkward to work on compared to a single story low pitch roof.
